Background

Each month we publish Join Dementia Research Volunteer Data on new registrations to help organisations and individuals to discover how many people are registering on Join Dementia Research. This data is broken down by CCG, STP, and NIHR regions and provide an overview on the source of registrations, number of people with and without dementia, and their diagnosis, gender, and age groups. This report supports planning and help assess the success of various activities being undertaken to support people to become involved.

Update

Today we have added a new section to this report, which allows the user to look at registrations across all organisations, in a single table, for a defined period time. This new table allows organisation to compare how they are performing compared to others.

Looking at data in this way also allows those organisations that are making progress, but playing catch-up to be highlighted e.g., in March 2019, NHS Coastal West Sussex CCG region registered more than twice as many volunteers as any other region with 71 new joiners and was placed third for total registrations last year.

To see how your region compares over the over the time you’re interested in – last month, last three months, or last year (or anytime) look at our new report.
