New volunteer registration data published
Join Dementia Research Volunteer Registration Data is a monthly statistical publication produced by the Office of the NIHR National Director for Dementia Research to support delivery of the 2020 Dementia Challenge objectives. This report provides information on Join Dementia Research volunteers, broken down by Clinical Commissioning Group, Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships, Health Board / NIHR Region. It details the number of registrants with and without dementia, diagnosis type, age, location, gender and how they heard about the service. It also always the user to look at specific periods of time, and provides raw data to allow more detailed local analysis.
The total number of volunteers with dementia is compared to NHS England data on the number of people with a dementia diagnosis to enable calculation of the proportion of people with dementia registered on Join Dementia Research.
NHS organisations, partners and service champions can use this report to measure progress against the 2020 Dementia Challenge objectives, and review the success of local initiatives to embed Join Dementia Research promotion into care pathways.
